On May 10, 2019, Shantona Chaudhury will be speaking on a panel with Senator Peter Harder and Charles Robert, Clerk of the House of Commons, on the topic "Are Canadian Institutions Fit for Purpose? The Evolution of Canada's Federal Institutions over the Past 50 Years".

The panel will be moderated by Professor Anoush Terjanian of the University of Ottawa and will take place as part of a symposium celebrating 50 years of the Parliamentary Internship Program, co-chaired by Professor Roland Paris of the University of Ottawa and Althia Raj, Ottawa Bureau Chief for HuffPost Canada.
