The Federal Court of Appeal is a unique Canadian court that specializes in federal law matters. It's national, traveling, bilingual, and incorporates both common law and civil law. As an appellate court, it reviews decisions from other federal courts and tribunals to ensure consistent and proper application of the law. Most of its rulings are final, with only a rare few proceeding to the Supreme Court of Canada for further review.
