Mitchell recently joined Pape Chaudhury after being called to the bar in 2021. As an articling student, he clerked for the judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in the Central South Region. Prior to this, Mitchell received his J.D. from the University of New Brunswick Faculty of Law, where he was a top-ten student, a research assistant, and the recipient of the 2019-20 Allen Earle and George McAllister scholarships for academic distinction. Mitchell was an editor-in-chief of the University of New Brunswick Law Journal – an annual peer-reviewed scholarly publication. He also competed in the 2020 Wilson Moot – an appellate level moot centered on issues of constitutional and administrative law. Prior to commencing his law degree, Mitchell completed a B.A. and M.A. in political science at the University of Western Ontario, and an M.A. in history at the University of Waterloo. Mitchell is an avid musician and enjoys playing hockey and golf.
